1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Repo-st ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these terms, you do not have permission to access the Service.

2. Description of Service

Repo-st provides:

  • AI-powered generation of social media threads from GitHub commits
  • Integration with GitHub repositories via webhooks
  • Automated posting to Twitter/X
  • Thread editing and management dashboard
  • Analytics and usage tracking

3. User Accounts

3.1 Account Creation

  • You must have a valid GitHub account to use our Service
  • You must be at least 13 years old to create an account
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
  • You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account

3.2 Account Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate and complete information
  • Keep your login credentials secure
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
  • Do not share your account with others

4. Acceptable Use

4.1 You Agree NOT to:

  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any laws
  • Violate GitHub's or Twitter's Terms of Service
  • Generate spam, abusive, or misleading content
  • Attempt to bypass usage limits or restrictions
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service
  • Use automated tools to scrape or abuse the Service
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
  • Transmit viruses, malware, or harmful code
  • Impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation
  • Collect or harvest user data without consent

5. Subscription and Payment

5.1 Pricing

  • Founding Member: $49 one-time payment (limited to 20 users)
  • Locks in 50% discount for the first 6 months
  • Prices are subject to change with 30 days notice

5.2 Payment Terms

  • Payments are processed securely via Stripe
  • All fees are non-refundable Unless required by law
  • You authorize us to charge your payment method
  • Failed payments may result in service suspension

5.3 Usage Limits

Free Plan:

  • 100 thread generations per month
  • 10 post publications per day
  • 5 connected repositories maximum

Pro Plan:

  • 1,000 thread generations per month
  • 50 post publications per day
  • 20 connected repositories maximum

6. Cancellation and Refunds

  • You may cancel your subscription at any time from your dashboard
  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
  • No refunds for partial periods or unused credits
  • We reserve the right to issue refunds at our discretion

7. Intellectual Property

7.1 Our IP

The Service, including its original content, features, and functionality, is owned by Repo-st and is protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

7.2 Your Content

  • You retain ownership of your repository data and generated threads
  • You grant us a license to process your data to provide the Service
  • AI-generated threads remain your property
  • We may use anonymized data to improve our AI models

9. Data and Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you consent to our data practices as described in the Privacy Policy.

10. Disclaimers and Limitations

10.1 Service Availability

  • The Service is provided "AS IS" without warranties
  • We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation
  • We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time
  • Scheduled maintenance may cause temporary downtime

10.2 AI-Generated Content

  • AI-generated threads may contain errors or inaccuracies
  • You are responsible for reviewing content before posting
  • We are not liable for content posted using our Service
  • AI outputs are provided as suggestions, not professional advice

10.3 Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, REPO-ST SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $100, whichever is greater.

11. Termination

11.1 By You

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting support.

11.2 By Us

We may suspend or terminate your account if:

  • You violate these Terms
  • Your payment fails
  • We suspect fraudulent or abusive activity
  • Required by law or legal process
  • We discontinue the Service

11.3 Effect of Termination

  • Your access to the Service will cease immediately
  • Your data may be deleted after 30 days
  • No refunds for early termination
  • Sections 7, 10, 11, and 13 survive termination

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Repo-st, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

  • Your use of the Service
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your violation of third-party rights
  • Content you post using the Service

13. Governing Law and Disputes

13.1 Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of France, without regard to conflict of law principles.

13.2 Dispute Resolution

  • Contact us first to resolve disputes informally
  • Unresolved disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of French courts
  • You waive any objection to venue in France

14. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes via email or a prominent notice on the Service. Your continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

15. Miscellaneous

  • Entire Agreement: These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Repo-st
  • Severability: If any provision is invalid, the remaining provisions remain in effect
  • Waiver: Our failure to enforce any right does not waive that right
  • Assignment: You may not assign these Terms; we may assign them without restriction
  • No Agency: These Terms do not create any partnership or employment relationship
